Pet portraits are done by commission.
The process starts by providing the best pictures possible, many times a picture may have the perfect eyes and another picture may have the perfect pose and so on.
Size preference is 16″ by 20″ starting point , they can also be done on wood panels or surfboards etc..
I’ve had cases where the client provides me with the last surviving picture that happens to be a bit warned, but if I see that it’s duable then I will proceed with the commission portrait.
